Department of Transportation Appropriations bill for fiscal 1971 (H.J. Res 468). The vote is on the Senate Appropriations Committee amendment to restore $134 million for continued financing of two prototype supersonic transport planes (The SST). The Nixon Administration supported the amendment. (Rejected 46-51. March 24, 1971. “No” is the correct vote.)
