LCVAF Launches First-Ever Climate Candidate Guide For Voters

New voter tool will help voters see endorsed climate candidates from LCVAF and state leagues, voter registration status, and polling locations
Oct 25, 2024

Washington, D.C. —  Today, the League of Conservation Voters (LCV) Action Fund announced the launch of its first-ever Climate Candidate Guide for voters. The tool will help voters find candidates endorsed by LCVAF and, if applicable, state league endorsements on their ballot in the November 2024 election.

The Climate Candidate Guide will allow voters to use their voting address to search for candidates who have been endorsed and will include voter tools to check their registration status and find their polling location.

“This is the most important election of our lifetimes and voters need to know which candidates are going to champion climate action, promote environmental justice and protect our democracy,” said LCVAF Vice President of Political Affairs Craig Auster. “We are excited that LCV Action Fund’s new climate candidate voter guide will help ensure more voters have a trusted tool to find climate candidates up and down the ballot in their states and districts. In the wake of record-breaking climate-fueled heat and devastating hurricanes this year, we’re all in to elect climate champions who will fight for our communities, our planet, and our future generations, not extreme MAGA candidates who deny the science on climate change and are not serious about climate solutions.”

About LCV Action Fund

The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) Action Fund, the connected federal political action committee (PAC) of the League of Conservation Voters, works to elect leaders who stand up for a clean, healthy environment and to defeat anti-environment candidates who oppose climate action. Since the 1990 election cycle, LCVAF has helped elect and re-elect 95 U.S. Senators and 483 members of the U.S. House of Representatives. Over the last several years, our efforts have also helped elevate climate change and clean energy as critical issues in key elections.
