Washington D.C. — In anticipation of today’s Senate vote finalizing the historic confirmation of Congresswoman Deb Haaland for Secretary of the Interior and making her the first Indigenous person to Cabinet Secretary, the League of Conservation Voters (LCV) issued the following statement from Senior Vice President of Government Affairs Tiernan Sittenfeld:
