Washington, D.C. —This week, League of Conservation Voters (LCV) and Climate Power launched a TV ad campaign to thank Representative Andy Kim (NJ-03) and Representative Tom Malinowski (NJ-07) and support transformative energy legislation that will create jobs, lower utility bills for families, and tackle climate change. As Congress considers an infrastructure package through reconciliation, $4 million in TV and digital ads will run in 16 different states. Both Congressman Kim and Malinowski’s actions this summer on clean energy have demonstrated their commitment to solving the climate crisis and helping our economy.

This comes after Climate Power and LCV’s already announced $20 million campaign this summer to bring attention to the opportunity Congress has to invest in clean energy jobs and take immediate climate action. From the Climate Action Now: Great American Build Tour, to ramped up field organizing efforts in 8 states, to ongoing paid media campaigns in key states and congressional districts with television, digital, billboard, and print ads, this is a historic August recess and summer of action for the environmental movement.
