Washington D.C. – The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) Action Fund, which works to elect pro-environment candidates, announced today the endorsement of Jason Crow for reelection to the U.S. House of Representatives from Colorado’s 6th Congressional District.

“Representative Jason Crow has been laser-focused on climate and clean energy issues and protecting communities since his first days in Congress,” said LCV Action Fund Senior Vice President of Government Affairs Tiernan Sittenfeld. “It has never been more important that we have leaders like Rep. Crow in Congress who will fight for the transformational investments we need in clean energy, climate, and jobs centered in equity – which is why we are thrilled to support his campaign for reelection.”

“Representative Crow has fought hard in Washington, D.C. for action on climate and to deploy more clean energy,” Kelly Nordini, CEO of Conservation Colorado. “Colorado’s 6th district is lucky to have a representative like him and we look forward to working with him in the future to do even more to protect Colorado’s land, air, water, and people.”

“The climate crisis is real and it is happening now,” said Representative Jason Crow. “I am proud to have earned the support of the League of Conservation Voters Action Fund, and together we will continue to do everything we can to leave a healthy planet for our children.”

Rep. Jason Crow was elected to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives in 2018. He is a co-sponsor on the THRIVE Act, which seeks to address racial justice and climate change. Most recently, Rep. Crow joined with Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) to introduce the Energy Security and Independence Act, which will strengthen America’s renewable energy supply chain through the Defense Production Act and invest in programs to lower utility prices. He also joined with Rep. David Rouzer (R-NC) to introduce the CLEAR Act, which authorizes a new grant program for states and tribes to create and maintain resilience offices and implement plans to address climate-caused risks and other vulnerabilities, modeled on the Colorado Resiliency Office. Rep. Crow also cosponsored the For the People Act (H.R. 1), the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act (H.R. 4), the Washington, D.C. Admission Act (H.R. 51), and the Protecting Our Democracy Act. He earned a 100% on LCV’s 2021 National Environmental Scorecard.
