Washington, D.C.- Today, LCV Victory Fund, NRDC Action Fund PAC, and NextGen America announced that they are launching the first-ever Beat Trump Presidential Climate Unity Fund through the successful GiveGreen platform to raise money for the eventual presidential nominee who will face Trump in the 2020 general election. Beginning today people will also be able to use GiveGreen to donate to individual presidential candidates (candidates are being added on an ongoing basis).

Individuals will be able to donate to the Beat Trump Presidential Climate Unity Fund, which will be held in “escrow” until the Democratic nomination is secured. At that point, donations will be distributed directly to the eventual nominee’s campaign and treated as direct contributions from the original donors.

For the first time ever on GiveGreen, contributors with a preferred 2020 Democratic presidential primary candidate can also donate to send a powerful pro-climate message to their candidate of choice. Cory Booker, Pete Buttigieg, Kirsten Gillibrand, Kamala Harris, John Hickenlooper, Jay Inslee, Amy Klobuchar, Beto O’Rourke and Bernie Sanders are currently featured on the website with more to come.. All leading pro-environment Democratic 2020 presidential candidates have been invited to apply for inclusion on GiveGreen.com and additional candidates are being added on a rolling basis.
