Trump-aligned Congress pulled the plug on clean energy and climate progress, even as communities faced rising costs of energy and the worsening impacts of climate change.
Again and again, the House and Senate slashed environmental protections for, and tried to sell off our public lands to, fossil fuel companies and other polluting corporations.
Democrats forced votes on affordable clean energy, the environment, support for our federal agencies and workforce, and voting rights, pushing back on Republicans’ efforts to hand power to President Trump.
